Carmel Girls High
School, Thiruvananthapuram was founded by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa in
the year 1963 as a Lower Primary School. The school was elevated as an upper
primary school in 1967 and as a high school in 1979.Today, the school has a strength of 2475 students and 72 staff members.
